Join Anne Bradley, Chief Privacy Officer and Global Counsel for Nike Direct, on Thursday, October 21, at 11:30 am, in a candid conversation about her career journey, the unique challenges and opportunities of being a woman in business today, and the importance of embracing the power of connection.

Then choose one of four impactful workshops led by industry experts. Presentations include:

  • “Circle Shifting:  Your Power to Move Things”- Is it more impactful to move within circles, or to move the actual circles from within? Dr. Pam Confer, International and award-winning speaker, author and entrepreneur, answers this question and explores a paradigm shift in the way we access opportunities, influence mind-sets, and ultimately change things for the better.

 

  • "Exporting? Yes, You Can!"-In this session led by Anthony Cambas, Manager of International Trade at the University of Mississippi/MS- SBDC, participants will learn about what "exporting" means in the 21st century and how to identify, close, deliver and get paid for international sales.

 

  • "Gender and Generation: Making Workplace Diversity Work"- In this workshop, Dr. Amy Chasteen, Executive Vice Provost for Academic Affairs at the University of Southern Mississippi examines the changing realities of generational differences in the workplace, considers the reasons for these divergences, and identifies strategies to build a productive multigenerational workplace.

 

  • "Globalizing Your Website"-Global customers respond to culturally relevant, localized marketing messages. Are you speaking their language?  James Bledsoe, Director of The eCommerce Innovation Lab, demonstrates the opportunity to build your business and increase market share by globalizing your website.
